Overview
CardShare.ai is a browser-based service that generates group greeting cards with AI-designed covers and drafted messages, then collects signatures through a single shared link. It is aimed at workplace teams, family groups, and Slack workspaces marking birthdays, farewells, anniversaries, and comparable milestones.
Key Features
-
AI cover and message drafting: A creator describes the card or attaches a reference photo, and the platform produces a cover plus an opening message. Tone presets such as Heartfelt, Roast, Dad jokes, Hype, and Epic steer the output, and any individual line can be regenerated on demand.
-
Single-link group signing: Each contributor opens a URL, writes a note, and places it anywhere on the card with drag, resize, and rotation controls, plus optional GIFs. Signers need no account and no download, and the card remains private until the organiser sends it.
-
Slack integration: Typing /cardshareai in any channel or DM opens an inline form for card type, recipient name, tone, and context. The bot returns a personalised headline, a cover image, and a card link that can be shared for signatures or sent directly to the recipient.
-
Occasion library and delivery: Thirteen prebuilt categories cover birthday, work anniversary, wedding, promotion, thank-you, farewell, kudos, retirement, get-well-soon, sympathy, new baby, graduation, and holiday cards. Delivery happens by email or by copying the card link, and the product navigation also lists a Claude connector.
Practical Considerations
The stated entry point is free for designing, collecting signatures, and sending, with no account required to start. Comparison pages address Kudoboard, GroupGreeting, Padlet, and SendWishOnline, indicating a positioning against established group-card platforms.
