- **Capture-first Vibe creation** — Vibes must originate from the device camera, and gallery imports cannot become Vibes. Video is capped at 20 seconds and requires a confirmed account, while shared media is re-encoded into a JPEG or an MP4 with a JPEG poster instead of uploading camera originals.

- **Six emotional spectra with emoji refinement** — Creators select one of six spectra (joy, love, anger, sadness, discomfort, surprise) and then narrow the expression through a secondary emoji picker, adding nuance without forcing a written mood label.

- **Geofenced pin placement** — Location access is mandatory, and the pin can be adjusted within 250 metres of the detected position. After capture the app re-verifies proximity and requests a new capture if significant movement is detected; no background location tracking runs.

- **Tiered audience and expiry** — A Vibe stays Personal on the device, is shared with Friends for three days, or with Everyone for 24 hours, with public posts screened for safety. Friends are mutual and added by exact username, with no people search or follower counts.

- **Non-ranking interaction** — A Feel is a response to one live shared Vibe whose supporter identities stay private and which never alters discovery, while Discuss threads bind to a single Vibe and close when it expires.
